Milestone sessions are a beautiful way to document your baby’s growth and development during their first year. The best times to schedule these sessions are based on your baby’s key developmental stages rather than specific ages. Around 6-9 months babies can sit up independently and it is ideal time for capturing big smiles, chubby cheeks and playful expressions.

11-12 months is perfect for celebrating the big ONE! I have accessories/props for both boys and girls based on my style of photography. My style is very neutral, natural and focuses on your baby rather than the themed setup.

It is best to book milestone sessions at least 1-2 months in advance. Each stage of your baby’s first year is unique – let’s capture these special moments before they’re gone!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • You should book your session once your baby can sit confidently and independently without support. This usually happens between 6 and 9 months.

  • I offer sessions in my warm, cozy home-based studio with carefully curated props and lighting.

  • Sitter sessions usually last 45 min - 1.5 hours, depending on the baby’s mood and comfort.

  • Simple, neutral-toned or pastel outfits photograph best. I also provide a selection of baby outfits and props that compliment my photography style for you to choose from.

  • These sessions are primarily baby-focused, but we can include a few photos with parents or siblings if requested in advance.

  • I allow time for breaks and follow the baby’s lead. Patience is key and I will work to get the best shots in relaxed, baby-friendly way.

  • Ensure your baby is well-fed and rested before the session. Bring favourite toys or comfort items that can help soothe them.

  • You can expect to receive full, professionally edited digital gallery within 1-3 weeks. And this is the time when you decide whether to upgrade your package.

  • Simply contact me via social media, website, email or phone to secure your session. Once booked, I’ll send over all the details, including a preparation guide to help you get ready for your newborn’s special photo day.

  • Yes, I offer custom albums, prints, folio boxes depending on the package you choose.
